the trajectory of my flow

 i love writing to/for you

love constructing sentences
that make me feel revived and alive
love the energetic burst of words
that force happiness to reveal itself
inside my verse
i love when writing of you
elation often takes me back to a time
when playing on the swings
the wind would cup
its delicate hands around my face
swirl me tight in its blistering breeze
then kiss me sweetly on my cheeks
always reminding me of the feel of you

everything i write flows through me
hoping to touch you somewhere lovingly
every poetic thought i free to the universe is done so
hoping they find their way to your waiting ears and eyes
i write my tears because all i have are my words
to hold you close when you need me near

it is absolutely impossible 
for anything or anyone including you
to change the trajectory of my flow
because my poetry is the voice of my love
and communicates to speak directly to you
